1. Research Use Only
Every material offered by Northeast Research Supply is intended exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical, scientific, and educational research conducted by qualified persons and institutions. Products are supplied solely as chemical research materials for in-vitro and analytical investigation. They are not offered, sold, or intended for any in-vivo application or for any use involving humans or animals.
2. Not for Human or Animal Consumption
Products are not foods, beverages, dietary supplements, nutritional products, drugs, medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, household chemicals, agricultural products, or consumer products of any kind. Products are not intended to be ingested, inhaled, injected, applied to the body, or otherwise introduced into or onto the body of any human or animal. Any such use is a misuse of the product, is expressly prohibited, is undertaken entirely at the user’s own risk, and is contrary to the sole purpose for which the product is sold.
3. No Medical, Health, or Efficacy Claims

4. No Dosage, Administration, or Use Guidance
Northeast Research Supply does not and will not provide dosage recommendations, administration instructions, therapeutic guidance, medical advice, recreational-use information, or any instruction relating to human or animal consumption. Questions concerning consumption, dosage, administration, effects, or personal use will not be answered. Requests of this nature may result in cancellation of an order and refusal of future service.

Where a Certificate of Analysis, Safety Data Sheet, or other documentation is available, its availability is identified with the applicable product; Northeast Research Supply does not represent any material as independently tested, pharmaceutical grade, reagent grade, or of a particular percentage purity unless documentation supports that specific statement for that specific lot. The purchaser is solely responsible for independently confirming the identity, suitability, purity, and quality of any material for the purchaser’s intended research application before use.
6. Purchaser Eligibility & Representations
By accessing this website and placing an order, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and legally competent to enter into this agreement; (b) you are a qualified researcher, professional, business, or institution acquiring the material for a lawful research, analytical, scientific, or educational purpose; (c) you are not acquiring any material for consumption or for resale or distribution for consumption; (d) you are authorized to receive and handle laboratory research materials; and (e) all information you provide is true, current, and complete.
7. Purchaser Responsibility & Legal Compliance
The purchaser is solely and exclusively responsible for determining whether the acquisition, importation, possession, handling, storage, transportation, use, and disposal of any material complies with all applicable federal, state, provincial, local, and international laws, regulations, rules, and requirements in the purchaser’s jurisdiction and in any jurisdiction to which the material is shipped or in which it is used. Laws differ by jurisdiction and change over time. The availability of a material through Northeast Research Supply is not, and shall not be construed as, a representation or warranty that the material may lawfully be purchased, imported, possessed, or used for any particular purpose or in any particular jurisdiction. It is the purchaser’s obligation to verify legality before ordering.
8. Assumption of Risk
The purchaser knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the handling, storage, transportation, use, and disposal of any material purchased from Northeast Research Supply. Research materials may be hazardous and must be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and laboratory safety practices, consistent with the applicable Safety Data Sheet where available. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for the safe and lawful handling of all materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Northeast Research Supply, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, suppliers, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the purchase, possession, handling, storage, transportation, use, misuse, or disposal of any material, or arising out of or relating to any information on this website, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Northeast Research Supply has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability of Northeast Research Supply shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the purchaser for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
The purchaser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Northeast Research Supply and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, suppliers, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) the purchaser’s breach of this Disclaimer or any representation herein; (b) the purchaser’s acquisition, possession, handling, storage, transportation, use, misuse, resale, or disposal of any material; or (c) the purchaser’s violation of any law or regulation or the rights of any third party.
11. Right to Refuse, Cancel, or Limit Orders
Product availability does not guarantee acceptance of an order. Northeast Research Supply reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to review, limit, refuse, or cancel any order, and to decline to sell to any person or in any jurisdiction, for any reason permitted by law, including for regulatory, compliance, safety, quantity, eligibility, or fraud-prevention reasons.
12. Shipping, Export & International Orders
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that any material may be lawfully imported into, and used within, the destination jurisdiction, and for complying with all applicable customs, import, export, and transportation requirements. Northeast Research Supply does not accept responsibility for materials seized, delayed, or refused by any customs or regulatory authority, or for any consequence of the purchaser’s failure to comply with applicable import/export law.
13. No Resale for Consumption
The purchaser shall not resell, relabel, repackage, or distribute any material as, or for use as, a food, dietary supplement, drug, medicine, cosmetic, or any product for human or animal consumption, nor make any consumption, medical, or health claim regarding any material. Any such resale or distribution is strictly prohibited and is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
14. Accuracy of Information
Northeast Research Supply endeavors to present accurate identity and documentation information, but does not warrant that all content on this website is complete, current, or error-free. Chemical names, synonyms, and technical information are provided for identification purposes and may be updated without notice. The purchaser should not rely solely on website content and should independently verify all information relevant to the purchaser’s research.
