Frequently Asked Questions
What does “Research Use Only” mean?
It means the material is offered for legitimate scientific, analytical, laboratory, or educational investigation. It is not offered as a product for human or animal consumption. Full terms are set out in our research use policy.
Is Phenibut HCl a dietary supplement?
No. Northeast Research Supply does not sell or represent Phenibut HCl as a dietary supplement. It is offered exclusively as a research material. Its regulatory position by jurisdiction is summarised on our Phenibut legal status page.
Do you provide dosage or administration information?
No. We do not provide dosage, administration, consumption, therapeutic, recreational-use, or self-medication information. Questions concerning consumption, dosage, or administration will not be answered.
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
When a Certificate of Analysis is available for a particular material or lot, its availability is indicated with the applicable product information. We do not attach purity figures or testing claims to a lot unless documentation supports them for that specific lot. See Certificate of Analysis for what we supply, or understanding the COA for how to read one.
What is a Safety Data Sheet (SDS)?
An SDS is a standardized document describing a material’s hazards, handling, storage, and emergency information. Where an SDS is available for a material, its availability is identified with the applicable product information. Our Safety Data Sheets page outlines the sixteen standard sections, and how to read an SDS walks through them.
Why do lot numbers matter?
A lot number helps associate a physical material with its corresponding production batch and analytical documentation. Researchers should record lot information as part of their research documentation when appropriate. This is covered further in lot traceability in research supply.
How long does delivery usually take?
Due to current demand, average delivery time is typically 5–10 business days after order approval and processing. Timing may vary based on destination, carrier capacity, customs processing where applicable, weather, and address verification. See shipping and handling for details, and shipping restrictions for destinations we cannot serve.
How should I store the material?
As general laboratory practice, research powders are typically kept cool, dry, clearly labeled, and away from light and incompatible substances unless the accompanying documentation specifies otherwise. General laboratory practice is described in storing and handling research powders.
Can you confirm a specific purity percentage?
Only where documentation supports it for the specific lot. We do not advertise a purity figure, a guaranteed COA, or independent-testing results that are not backed by the material’s actual records. Our approach is described on the product quality and documentation page.
Who is eligible to purchase?
By purchasing, the purchaser represents that the material is being obtained for a lawful research, analytical, scientific, or educational purpose, and that they are responsible for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Further detail is on regulatory, safety and compliance.
Can an order be refused?
Yes. Product availability does not guarantee acceptance of an order. Northeast Research Supply reserves the right to review or refuse transactions for legal, regulatory, safety, compliance, or fraud-prevention reasons. Our returns and order issues policy explains what happens next.
Is this material intended for human consumption?
No. Materials sold by Northeast Research Supply are not intended for human or veterinary consumption.
